Credit Card Debt Consolidation Help:
How does it work?
When we begin to
consider credit card debt consolidation help we
think of ways and means of improving our lot. Total United Kingdom individual
debt liability as of year end 2008 was £1,457bn. This has continued
to slow down to 3.6% over the last 12 months which translates to an
increase of around £50 billion. Total borrowing in december last
year expanded by £2.2bn; lending secured on personal property
increased by £1.9bn in the month; personal consumer lending expanded
by £0.3 billion in that month as well. Average British household
debt comes in at about £60,000 (including secured loans). Average
owed by every UK adult is around £30,435 (that includes secured
loans). The mean average payable secured loan for the 11.7m households
who have mortgages currently stands at around £104,223.
Some more somewhat
sobering figures: £252m is payable in interest alone in the UK
every day. 124 properties become repossessed every day. 1,490 people
are thrown out of work on a daily basis, and also someone is made bankrupt
every 5 minutes.
But it certainly
hasn't just been people who have suffered. Corporate insolvency have
increased by leaps and bounds over the last few quarters and this marked
increase has been sustained in the recent years coming up to
the recession. In the fourth quarter of 2008 three thousand companies
went into liquidation , a 62 percent increase on the same quarter in
2007. U.k. businesses are set to face a very challenging economic environment.
When considered in the context of credit card debt consolidation help
this creates a challenge
for everyone.
