Credit Card Debt Removal:
How does it work?
When we think about
credit card debt removal we think of ways and means of preserving our
lives. Total UK individual debt accountability as at December 2008 stood
at a staggering £1,457bn. This has continued to slow down to 3.6%
over the last year which equates to an increase of around fifty billion
pounds sterling. Borrowing in the last month of last year expanded by
over two billion pounds; homeowner loans escalated by nearly two billion
pounds sterling in the month; unsecured consumer credit borrowing expanded
by £0.3 billion in that month as well. Average British household
debt comes in at around £60,000 (including secured borrowing).
The average owed by every adult in the UK is around £30,400 (includes
secured loans). Average unsettles mortgage for some 12m households who
have oustanding mortgages at the time of writing is around £104,000.
But it isn't only
people who have suffered. Corporate insolvency has risen in recent years
and this trend has been particularly sustained in the recent years coming
up to the recession. In the fourth quarter of 2008 three thousand companies
went into CVL (creditors voluntary liquidation) which was a sixty two
% rise on Q4 in 2007. United Kingdom businesses are set to face a very
challenging economic environment. In terms of credit card debt removal
this creates a worrying test for all of us.
