Restructuring Credit Card Debt Advice:
How does it work?
When we begin to consider restructuring credit card debt advice we think of ways and means of preserving our life style and standard of living. British personal debt commitment as at year end 2008 stood at a staggering 1,457bn. That has slowed down to 3.6% over the last four quarters which translates to an increase of around 50 billion. Total lending in December 2008 grew by over two billion pounds sterling; home loans escalated by nearly two billion pounds sterling that month; unsecured personal borrowing increased by 0.3 billion in that month as well. Average British household debt comes in at about 59,700 (includes secured loans). The average amount of money owed by every British adult is around 30,400 (that includes mortgages). Average secured loan for the 12 million households who have mortgages at the time of writing is around 104,000.
Here's more somewhat stark statistics: 252 million is paid in interest in Britain daily. 124 properties become taken back by the banks every day. 1,490 people are put out of work on a daily basis, while one person is made insolvent or bankrupt every five minutes.
But it hasn't only been ordinary people like you and me who have clearly borne the brunt of this recession. Company failure has dramatically shot up in recent times and the trend has been particularly marked in the recent years culminating in the recession. For the last quarter of 2008 3000 limited companies went into creditors voluntary liquidation which was a sixty two per cent rise on Q4 in 2007. U.K. businesses have rarely faced a struggle as great as this. In terms of restructuring credit card debt advice this poses a trial to us all.
