Do These Debt Wipe Off Companies Work: Can We Make A Difference?

There's been a lot in the media recently about "debt wipe off (make unenforceable) companies" and much debate about whether they work or not. Well, they do work, and if the perfectly legal procedures we use did not work we would not have any clients and consequently we would not be in business! Be assured, it is not a scam, though some sources have a vested interest in telling you that it is - mainly the banks themselves, surprise surprise! The only scam element involved is perhaps the huge fees that some companies charge for doing something that most people can do for nothing themselves (although proper legal help is always recommended).

Do These Debt Write Off Companies Work? Background Notes

When we consider about do these debt wipe off (make unenforceable) companies work we are actually thinking of ways and means of recovering our life style. Total UK household debt as of December 2008 was a staggering £1,457bn. This has continued to slow down to 3.6 percent in the last four quarters which translates to an increase of about fifty billion pounds. Overall borrowing in the last month of 2008 grew by over two billion pounds sterling; lending secured on property increased by £1.9 billion that same month; consumer credit lending expanded by £0.3 billion in the month as well. The average UK household debt comes in at about £60,000 (including secured borrowing).

Here are more fairly stark figures: £252 million is payable in interest alone in the UK daily. 124 properties are repossessed every day. 1,490 workers lose their livelihood on a daily basis, meanwhile one person every five minutes is declared bankrupt.

But it certainly hasn't only just been everyday people like you and me who have clearly had to bear the brunt of this. Business failure have increased by leaps and bounds recently and this increase has been sustained in the years culminating in the current downturn. In the fourth quarter of 2008 3,000 incorporated businesses went into liquidation, a 62 per cent rise on the same quarter in 2007.
